ASTON MARTIN DB6 のご紹介です。1967年式の綺麗なボディはレストア済みで、オプションのボルグワーナー製自動変速機とパワーウィンドゥを装備しています。エンジンは3995ccの水冷直列6気筒全軽合金製DOHCエンジンを搭載し3基のSUキャブレターから282bhpを発揮していますから、現代の街中でもストレスなく走行が可能で、首都高も問題なく走れるほど機関は問題ありません。現代のアストンマーチンも魅力ですが、クラッシックアストンは独特の雰囲気で魅了されますね。只今青山ショールームにて展示中です♪

No problem hitting metro highways or streets today, with 3995cc all light alloy water cooled straight 6 cylinder DOHC engine with 3 SU carburetors giving 282bhp. New Aston Martins are also very nice, but classic Aston’s are just fascinating with special atmosphere. Now showed at Aoyama show room.

Aston Martin One-77と Ferrari 599XX 。どちらもフロントミッドシップにV12エンジンを搭載しリヤドライブのスーパースポーツカーです。それぞれ物凄いスペックのクルマですがASTON MARTIN はあくまでも公道を優雅に走れることも性能と考えていることがインテリアの豪華さからも感じられます。Ferrari はコンペティション命ですから、この599XXのようなスパルタンで無駄のないレーシングカーが正統な答えなのでしょう。この2台をサーキットでバトルさせたら楽しそうですね♪

Aston Martin One-77 and Ferrari 599XX. Both a rear drive super sports cars that carries front-mid mounted V12 engine. Each one of them are great spec’d cars but you can tell that Aston Martin are sticked to the elegant drive in normal roads from its gorgeous interiors. Against that, Ferrari lives for competition, so Spartan racing car avoided all waste like 599XX might be the right answer. It would be great fun if you let these two battle in a closed circuit.
