アメリカン ル・マン シリーズの第７戦ロード・アメリカでポールポジションからスタートし見事GT2クラスの1-2フィニッシュを飾ったPORSCHE 911 GT3RSR が搭載しているパワーユニットはなんと4L仕様のエボリューションです。Ferrari 430 GTCのデビュー以来速さで負けていたPORSCHEは今年に入ってもFerrari勢の表彰台独占が続いていましたが、このスペシャルＮＥＷエンジンの投入で形勢逆転になったようです。注目のLMP1クラスとLMP2クラスの優勝争いはAudi R10 TDi の1-2フィニッシュ。LMP2クラスは総合でも3位に入賞したAcura ARX-01B がPorsche RS Spyderを下し見事クラス優勝しています。来年の１１月１日には富士スピードウェイでアジア・ルマン・シリーズのFuji 1000km RACEが開催されることが決まっていますので、真近で白熱した本物のLE MANS SERIESを観られると思います♪楽しみですね（＾-＾）

The power unit of PORSCHE 911 GT3RSR, which made 1-2 finish in GT2 class from pole in round 7 of? American Le Mans series at Road America, is incredible evolution 4liter version. Since Ferrari 430 GTC came out, PORSCHEs has given up with speed, and letting Ferraris to occupy podium even in this season but now the situation is going reverse with putting this new engine in. Noteworthy competition of LMP1 and LMP2 class has ended with 1-2 finish of Audi R10 TDi, and Acura ARX-01B which even came in 3rd overall, beat PORSCHE RS Spyder in LMP2. Fuji 1000km race of Asian Le Man series will be held in next year’s 1st of November, so real hot competition of Le Mans series would be something worth to watch!
