ASTON MARTIN DB6 のご紹介です。1967年式の綺麗なボディはレストア済みで、オプションのボルグワーナー製自動変速機とパワーウィンドゥを装備しています。エンジンは3995ccの水冷直列6気筒全軽合金製DOHCエンジンを搭載し3基のSUキャブレターから282bhpを発揮していますから、現代の街中でもストレスなく走行が可能で、首都高も問題なく走れるほど機関は問題ありません。現代のアストンマーチンも魅力ですが、クラッシックアストンは独特の雰囲気で魅了されますね。只今青山ショールームにて展示中です♪

No problem hitting metro highways or streets today, with 3995cc all light alloy water cooled straight 6 cylinder DOHC engine with 3 SU carburetors giving 282bhp. PORSCHE 917といえばスティーブ・マックイーン主演『栄光のル・マン』のGulfカラーの917Kが有名ですね。その917がデビューから40周年を向かえたそうで、ヒストリーのある名車たちは新しいポルシェミュージアムに展示されています。ル・マン24時間レースでは1970年と1971年に総合優勝しています。数々の耐久レースで大活躍した結果レギュレーション変更により現役から退く形になったのは強すぎたからでしょう。その性能は驚くほど高く0-100ｋｍ加速は2.5秒、最高速は409ｋｍというモンスターマシンでした。このマシンのハイライトは美しいボディデザインだと思います♪

Celebrating the 917’s 40th anniversary, historical greats are displayed in new Porsche museum. Like winning overall in Le Mans 24hrs in 1970 and 1971, this car might have been too strong that dominated so many endurance races, which resulted regulation changes, and retirement from racing scene. This monster machine’s performance was just incredible, that taking only 2.5sec for 0-100km/h with max speed hitting 409km/h. I think the highlight of this machine is that beautiful bodyline.
