This car is a very rare 993 GT2 Racing brought to Japan after delivered from Weissach motorsport. 993 GT2 is a successful evolution model which has been developed to win GT class of Le Mans 24 hours. What is so great about it is the powerunit which is 3.6L armored with kkk twin turbo and intercooler, specially designed cylinder and hi-camshaft tune producing over 450ps. Max speed easily exceeds 300km/h, it strongly accelerates the 1150kgs light body. The feel of acceleration is just like receiving a massive kick from behind and it is almost like that you warp between the corners. Using the benefit of RR for good traction, alongside fat rear tires transmit huge power to the surface without loss. Power assisted steering, designed to keep accurate driving on long distance races will give information from the road to the driver. Sebring 12 Hours 毎年恒例のスポーツカーによる耐久レースが開催され、このレースがデビューとなるAudi R15 TDI が見事総合優勝を飾りました。激戦のGT2クラスはFerrari 430 GTC が優勝。このGT2クラスにはBMW M3もデビューしています。今年は景気後退で国際レースも少なからず影響を受けて参戦台数が減ったようですが、新型マシンも多数エントリーされ見応えあるレースが展開される一年間になりそうです。クライマックスの6月に開催される第77回ル・マン24時間耐久レースに向けて各チームはしっかりとデータ収集しています。今年はプジョーも本気の3年目になりますし、アストンマーチンもワークス参戦してきますから、24時間後のチェッカーまで目が離せないレース展開になる予感がします。6月が待ち遠しいですね♪

An annual Sebring 12 Hours Endurance race by sport cars was held, and Audi R15 TDI has successfully made a debut by winning overall. Close contest of GT2 class was won by Ferrari 430 GTC. Numbers of entry decreased since International racing is also affected by economic slump, but many new cars have entered, and would be a great racing season worth to watch. Each teams were collecting data to point a gun at the climax, 77th Le Mans 24hours Endurance race in June. It is a serious 3rd year for Peugeot, Aston Martin will come in as a factory team, so you can’t take your eye off until the checker 24hours later. Can’t wait to be June!
