Dodge Viper SRT10
A new Nurburgring record has allegedly tumbled with a video showcasing the Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR circling the arduous track in just 7m 22.1s. While the source of the video is far from official, if the time proves accurate then this track-honed Viper is quicker around the track than the likes of the Nissan GT-R, which posted a time of 7m 29s, the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, which posted a time of 7m 26.4s, and even the Pagani Zonda F supercar, which has run an unofficial time of 7m 23s. Le Mans Series_Nurburgring_Race は今期4回目となるLMP1クラスの1-2フィニッシュをPeugeot 908 Hdi-FAPが飾りました。3-4位はAudi R10 TDI が獲得。活躍が期待されたLola Aston Martinは5位フィニッシュでした。LMP2クラスは総合でも7位に入る脅威のスピードでPORSCHE RS SPYDERのヨス・フェルスタッペンが最終戦を待たずにドライバーズチャンピョンを決めるクラス優勝を獲得しました。2位はPescarolo Juddが入賞。LMGT1クラスはクラスポールからスタートしたAston Martin DBR9が優勝。LMGT2クラスはフリー走行で出火するも見事な復活でFerrari 430 GTが勝利を収めました。2-3位はPORSCHE 997 GT3RSRでした。次回最終戦は9/13-14伝統の高速サーキットSILVERSTONEで開催されます！最後までPeugeotが完全勝利を飾れるのか楽しみです！

Peugeot 908 Hdi-FAP has made 4th 1-2 finish this season in Nurburgring race of Le Mans Series. Audi R10 TDI came in 3-4th. Lola Aston Martin which was expected to bring impact, finished in 5th. LMP2 class has been won by PORSCHE RS SPYDER driven by Jos Verstappen who even came in 7th overall, ahead of Pescarolo Judd. Aston Martin DBR9 has won from pole in LMGT1 class. LMGT2 class was won by Ferrari 430 GT despite the fire in free practice, followed by 2 PORSCHE 997 GT3RSRs. Next, final round will be held at traditional high speed track of Silverstone in Sep 13-14.

Le Mans Series_Nurburgring_Qualifying の結果LMP1クラスのポールポジションはマルク・ジェネがドライブするPeugeot 908 Hdi-FAP、僅差で同じマシンを駆るペドロ・ラミーとLola Astom Martin が続いています。LMP2クラスのポールは4戦連続ポールポジションのヨス・フェルスタッペンがドライブするPORSCHE RS SPYDER。2番手も同じくPORSCHE RS SPYDER が続き、3番手は屋根付のLola Juddです。LMGT1クラスはAston Martin DBR9がトップタイムをマーク、Corvette C6.Rが2台続いています。LMGT2クラスはFerrari 430 GTが2台のワークスPORSCHE 997 GT3RSRを抑えて見事ポールポジションを獲得しています。総勢46台もの豪華なエントリーで争われる1000kmRACEはスプリント並みのハイペースで展開されると予想されます！

Marc Gene driving Peugeot 908 Hdi-FAP has won pole position in qualifying of Nurburgring of Le Mans series, followed by Pedro Lamy driving same machine with slight difference and Lola Aston Martin. PORSCHE RS SPYDER driven by Jos Verstappen sits on pole for 4 races in a row in LMP2 class, also followed by RS SPYDER. Lola Judd with roof came in to sit in 3rd grid. Aston Martin DBR9 marked fastest time for LMGT1 class followed by 2 Corvette C6-R. Ferrari 430 GT sits on pole for LMGT2 class ahead of 2 factory PORSCHE 997 GT3RSR. 1000km race would probably go with fast pace just as a sprint racing with absolutely gorgeous 46 cars of entry!
